Welcome to the new IPS newsletter. In addition to our full news announcements we will be sending more frequent updates with all the happenings in the company.

Stay Up To Date

Always be sure to keep up to date on the latest version of our software. You can view if there are any updates and the latest new from IPS in your Admin CP when you first login. The current versions of all our released software are:

IP.Board: 2.2.2
IP.Blog: 1.3.2
IP.Gallery: 2.1.2
IP.Downloads: 1.1.2

Also please check to see if you have installed the recent security update to IP.Board.

IP.Board 2.3.0 Coming Soon

We are in the process of testing IP.Board 2.3.0 on our company forums. This new release of IP.Board will not add many features but instead we are focusing on further enhancing the performance of our software. This will mean a great deal of speed improvement for our customers with very busy installations. Also included is a new help system in the Admin CP and other small improvements to the Admin area's usability. We are designing IP.Board with skinning and modifications in mind: most all skins and mods that worked in 2.2.x will also work in 2.3.0.

We will update you when we are closer to a release date for IP.Board 2.3.0.

IPS Beyond

We are in the process of revamping IPS Beyond's services to further enhance your experience. We are very excited about the upcoming changes which will further add value to your active license. Some changes include tighter integration with our company forums and more free and low cost resources directly from IPS!

We have also started an initiative to release some of our tools to the community for use. The first is our bug tracker which is being developed by members of our community for the free use by all current IPS customers.

IPS Datacenter

Our new datacenter is allowing IPS to further enhance its ability to provide quality hosting services. Many of our existing customers have already been moved there and if you have not just keep on the lookout for an email from our staff informing you when your site may be moved.

We will also be announcing enhancements to all of our hosting services in the coming months which will add great value and ability to our hosting packages.

Documentation

Don't forget our documentation is online including an admin guide, CSS guide, and developer information. It is a great place to start or reference when you are having problems. Updates are currently being made to prepare for the 2.3.0 release.

Software Piracy

Have you noticed a site distributing copies of our software? We would appreciate your help and reporting those sites so we can work on stopping this activity. It protects your investment and allows us to focus on creating enhancements to the software for you.
